Here is the pasta dinner schedule for the season. As mentioned last night, this is a very special bonding time for the girls and coaches, and we are so looking forward to carrying on this tradition. As in the past, the pasta party is for the girls and coaches after practice- usually the night before a big game. Traditional fare is plenty of pasta- a variety of red and white sauce works best, Ippolitos garlic knots (these go fast!), salad, drinks (water, iced tea, lemonade), and dessert. There are 24 girls and the coaches.
I have put together the schedule based on year and alphabetical order. If you cannot do the date you are scheduled for, please take it upon yourself to switch with someone. As you will see, there are four people in a group. The four people need to touch base with each other to determine who brings what. Also, you need to decide who's house the dinner will be at and let me know (address and phone number) so I can send reminders and directions.
The dinners should not last long- max an hour once they get there. Also, we are working on getting a health "tip" of the week together- a few sentences- and have the hostess read and pass out to the girls as well. Just let me know who is hosting and I will get info to them.
Thanks so much to everyone. We look forward to a great season!

Go into the neighborhood and follow around to the circle, bearing right to follow Owens Lake Road. They are the third house on the right. It is a brick house with green shutters.

Hello everyone! This week's pasta dinner will be held at the Brooks home in North Valley on Thursday after practice. To get there from Milton: go left on Freemanville Rd
Head north until Dinsmore Rd. and turn right (this will be after White Columns)
Go down Dinsmore Rd and turn right on to North Valley Field Rd. (this will be at a sharp left curve- you go right in to North Valley)
Go to Stop sign and turn right on to E. Bluff Rd.
The Brooks are at 14795 East Bluff Rd. It is the 11th driveway on the left and has a for sale sign out front. Please remember to drive safely and slowly in the hood, as well as all roads. Dinsmore is especially curvy....please take note.
Thanks and GO EAGLES!
If you are coming from the high school, go north on Freemanville Rd. and turn right in to The Oaks at White Columns (after the big entrance which will be on your left). Go to stop sign and turn right onto Scarlet Oak Trail. Take first left on to Post Oak Close and we are the second house on the left.
If practice is canceled due to weather, we will cancel the pizza gathering as well. Stay tuned!
Go Eagles!
