Come and join the 2010 Milton girls Varsity lacrosse team as they prepare to win their 5th State Title. The coaching staff and players will be offering a one-day clinic to help girls learn how to play and improve their lacrosse skills to get ready for the spring season. The clinic will focus on offensive and defensive tactics as well as stick skills. Come out and meet the Milton 2010 Varsity players and the coaches. Be prepared for a day full of fun and be ready to take home one awesome t-shirt!

The Milton lacrosse program is excited to announce SUMMER TEAMS for 2009!!!
We will be having lacrosse teams this summer in conjunction with our summer camps above. Milton girls in 5th - 8th grade (rising 6th-9th graders) are able to participate on the teams. There will be practices, camps, and tournaments for the girls to participate in. The teams will participate in two local tournaments and one travel tournament during the summer. The Milton high school coaching staff and players will be providing coaching and instruction to the girls participating on the teams.

UGA Women's Lacrosse Club Clinic
Happy lacrosse season!
This Saturday, January 24, the University of Georgia women's lacrosse club team will be hosting a clinic at Centennial High School from 10 am to 2 pm. Its $50 for the day, and grades 6-12 are welcome! We will also be selling long-sleeved t-shirts the day of.
The registration deadline is January 22nd, and to register, email Aileen Thomas at aileenet@uga.edu. Please list which clinic, the student's name, grade, skill level and if they would like a t-shirt. Players can also register the day of, but we ask that they arrive by 9:30 at the latest so we can have the girls divided up by the time the clinic begins at 10. We should also have information up on our website at http://georgia.ialax.com shortly. We will collect all money on the day of the clinic.
Spread the word to your girls! The will be coached by experienced players from all over country (a few Milton alumni!) and the defending SWLL champions!

I am sending information about a clinic that will be held at Northpark on January 18th. This clinic will be ran by Becky Clipp, who is a former University of Maryland All-American and currently a member of the US Women’s Lacrosse team. I met Becky last summer and asked her to come down and do a clinic with our girls in January to help them get some great instruction and practice in before tryouts. She is a great teacher of the game and has lots of energy and enthusiasm. I have attached the registration form on this e-mail and hope everyone is able to attend.

Many of us in Milton Lacrosse Community had the opportunity to meet Kyle last spring. Kyle, a midfielder for the LA Riptide (http://www.yardbarker.com/kyleharrison) was the keynote speaker for the Legacy Lacrosse Cup (see legacylacrossecup.com for more details on Kyle and the Legacy Lacrosse Cup) held here in March of 2008. The Legacy Lacrosse Cup Committee is excited to announce that Kyle will again be the keynote speaker for this year's Legacy Lacrosse Cup March 27-28 2009.
Kyle will be in Atlanta this week for Thanksgiving with his family. He has generously offered to hold FREE clinics this Wednesday for all of the lacrosse teams affiliated with Milton.
The clinic for the High School Girls will be held Wednesday, November 26th, from 12:00-1:00. I hope all the players can attend this clinic for an hour of fun stick work and shooting tips offered by Kyle.
Kyle is really looking forward to tuning some skills and offering advice as we continue to prepare in the off season. Please make Kyle feel welcomed and appreciated for his time serving back to our community.
